Jubilee Furniture weekly update post for Thursday, June 1, 2017

Not last night but the night before my daughter phoned while I was eating dinner to tell me to go outside and see the DOUBLE rainbow! By the time I got my wits about me and took this photo - the top rainbow was fading (but you can see it faintly in this photo) but the bottom one was still so vivid and gorgeous!

Like double rainbows - Jubilee Furniture's inventory is fleeting and ever changing. We had over $17,000 worth of sales last weekend - so that's a LOT of furniture sold and gone. That said, a TON of new items were donated this week!

What follows are photos of SOME of that new-to-us furniture. Let's take a look.

lovely Ethan Allen cream colored sofa! Priced $245 and in good condition.
Faux fur throw hasn't been priced yet (sorry)

Flexsteel sofa - in very good condition - priced $165

this is a really gorgeous metal tree sculpture. It's VERY
heavy so be careful picking it up. Priced $75

black side table with protective glass top - very good condition - priced $35

you can see the wear on the arms of these two generous size arm chairs but otherwise they're in good condition and are priced $55 each. Mission style end table is $45 and matching coffee table for $95 - and they're both in very good condition. Table lamp is $25

this is a really gorgeous mission style dining table with two leaves and six chairs (two with arms). Some minor dings in the wood here and there. Priced $245

starting with this incredible Heywood Wakefield two piece china cabinet (from the Cadence Collection) I have a total of THREE Heywood Wakefield pieces to show you today. You can see the damage from a sweaty water glass (or something like that) on the top of the base piece but otherwise this piece is amazing! Priced $295 (there's a shelf in the bottom that was
wrapped in white paper. You can see it in one photo)

WOW! What an incredible piece of history! Made in the late 1700's in Dejon, France this men's desk is fabulous! There are drawers on BOTH sides (real drawers - not like the same drawer pulls through) though only one side has the pull out leather top piece and two side writing surfaces. For an over 300 years old piece of furniture it's in amazing condition! Priced $495 (though the note inside the desk mentions an affidavit I'm not aware if the donor gave us one - but I could be wrong)

wonderful oak pedestal table with two leaves and six chairs -
all in very good condition - priced $155

Williams Sonoma butcher block table. Measures 5' x 30" and sits 34" from floor to top.
Butcher block surface has quite a few stains and marks. Priced $125 (it doesn't look like they
sell this exact piece any longer but here's a similiar one which retails for $1,895)

Heywood Wakefield piece #2. Gorgeous desk. A couple of stains on the white formica
(I think it's formica) top (I wonder if Mr. Clean Magic Eraser would get them out.
Those sponges really ARE magic!). Priced $445 and measures 4' x 2'

lovely swivel glider - sweet fabric, good condition - priced $45

a wonderful donor gave us this GORGEOUS Pottery Barn king size comforter (one side is red silk) with three pillow shams. Priced $85 for set and it's in excellent condition

cool old chest in good condition and priced $125

beautiful Empire Furniture eight drawer chest in great condition and priced $145

white wood, twin size daybed with popup trundle - good condition - priced $125

Drexel long dresser for $55 and matching armoire for $65. Both are in
good condition though there are a couple of marks on the top of the dresser

wonderful oak rocker with upholstered seat for $65;
white rocker (with natural stain seat) for $35

though both of these three drawer dressers need some work (lots of scratches and
marks on the top of both of 'em) at $15 each they're worth the work!

American Drew sideboard with pull out heat resistant surface. In good condition.
Measures 5'8" x 19" deep. Priced $95

lovely dining table with two leaves - in very good condition - priced $125

though one of the chairs has damaged caning (last photo) the rest
of the set is in good condition. Table with two leaves
and six chairs (two with arms) is priced a mere $55!

fantastic buffet - measures 5' x 21 1/2" - priced $95

round table with two leaves and four chairs (table base has been painted a lovely green with some dark wax to give it a slightly antique look) for $95. Set is in very good condition

Heywood Wakefield piece #3. Drop leaf table with two leaves and six chairs (two with arms). Some dings and stains on table top but overall in great condition (you might want to recover the
chair seats though the green material is in fine shape). Priced $595 for the set

cool old cabinet. I - faintly - smelled cigarette smoke when
I opened the door (fyi). Priced $125

another beautiful buffet this time by Landstrom Furniture and is priced $95

rolling TV stand (some clear goop hardened on top - last photo)
measures 47" wide by 15 1/2" deep and priced $35

gorgeous oak four piece wall unit. Two corner pieces are priced $55 each (and there's a small repair needed on one - see last photo). Two lighted pieces are $65 each. Buy all four
for $215 which is 10% off the total price if purchased individually!

sweet as can be Ethan Allen table with two leaves and four chairs - some wear
but overall in great condition - priced $85

black painted crafting table? kitchen island? Lots of cubbies for storage and towel bars! Needs to be repainted. The top measures 49" across (but extends further when you consider the towel bars) by 25" deep. Priced $55 (note split in wood on one side)

Happy June 1st and I'll see you next week, dear reader!

That's a gorgeous pic of the rainbow - I missed it in Carol Stream! As always - the furniture looks wonderful!
