I'm honored to introduce you to...

JOE!

You might remember that in order to keep our expenses as low as possible - Jubilee Furniture relies on quite a number of volunteers to make sure things run smoothly. Joe is one of those volunteers! I've known Joe for years - as a donor - and have talked to him easily 15 to 20 times - but always over the phone. I was thrilled when I was in the store yesterday taking photos to finally meet him! Joe was helping Jean sort and price our "smalls" in order to make sure we have lots available for this week's sale. Joe also works in the showroom assisting customers - so he might already be a familiar face. I can't tell you how tickled I was to finally meet him! We have a surprising number of wonderful repeat donors who I'm so, so grateful to - but having donated a whooping 12 times Joe is in a unique category. You might call him a "platinum" donor! THANK YOU, Joe! Oh and Joe's a CUSTOMER too - he was planning on purchasing that sweet cooper tea pot, creamer and sugar bowl you see in this photo!  A Jubilee Furniture trifecta - donor, volunteer and customer! Joe - you're simply the best!

So, what's this about a sale, you ask? I'd love to tell you! We're taking 25% off the lowest marked price on lamps and lighting, artwork, mirrors, knick-knacks, china, crystal, decorative items and lots of other "smalls"! There are some exceptions - but, overall, a whole bunch of items are an additional 25% off! Woot!

I took lots of photos but what follows is still just a small percentage of what's currently in the store. Let's take a gander!

two matching Crate & Barrel wingback chairs - both in excellent condition and priced $195 each. Last photo is simply trying to show you the colors in the upholstery - very muted, earthy and lovely!

Stanley Furniture brand table (44 1/2" by 65") with two leaves (each 16" wide) and six chairs (two with arms). There are a number of dings and worn spots in the wood but still a very nice set and I didn't see any issues with the caning on the back of the chairs. FYI. Priced $145 for the whole set

looks to be in excellent condition loveseat from Toms-Price - priced $295. Great neutral color and classic style! Second photo is simply trying to capture the color/fabric for you

two matching lovely side chairs! One has a small rip on one front corner but otherwise these
chairs are in very good condition! Small rip chair is $75. No rip chair is $85

in-between the two chairs is this stunning pedestal base game table! One of our wood/furniture experts says this is walnut and probably made in the 1860s! Some dings in the surface but otherwise in really good condition and solid! It's 35" square (of course it's not really square but
I don't know how else to say it!). Priced $135

two really nice looking Fairfield brand side chairs! I did spy a few some stains (looks like a beverage might have spilled a bit) on one chair but otherwise in very good condition!
Love the wood frames! Priced $125 each

Plunkett brand sofa for $175 and matching loveseat for $125. Both are in good condition

excellent condition Canadel drop leaf table with two chairs! With leaves down the table is 25" by 40" and then 40" round with leaves up! I was unable to figure out how to release the mechanism for the leaves to drop down again once I'd raised them - and I'm normally pretty good at stuff like that - so just something to check out if you're interested in this amazing set! Priced $175

there's a small chip in one corner of the glass on this glass and brass coffee table but otherwise it's FANTASTIC! Love the birds, flowers and leaves that march along the base of this piece!
Measures: 26" by 50" and is 19" tall. Priced $105

four drawer, mahogany small dresser - LOVE everything about this piece!
In very good condition and priced $75

chalk-painted, pedestal base dining table (measures: 47" by 66") for $45 (solid piece - you might want to repaint) and four Arhaus dining chairs - in excellent condition - $120 for the set!

we have two matching, gorgeous dressers that are in excellent condition! They each have four generous drawers (pull out pretty far) and then three smaller ones at the top. I kept trying to see if
any of the decorative trim on the sides were secret drawers and I don't think they are
(they're very pretty but that seems a bit like wasted space). Priced $350 each

NINE drawer dresser with mirror that sits on top - in very good condition and priced $185

I actually think these two leather recliners are amazing but understand if you disagree! Haha! One of them has large stains on both arms (you normally see staining where someone puts their hands since hand oil can discolor leather - but this seems more than just someone's hands) and then a slight stain where you'd rest your hair (from hair oil or hair products). I love a clean line recliner like these and wonder if there's a leather product that might lighten the stained area? Stained recliner is $55 and unstained one $125. I could see spending $180 (plus tax) on both of these and seeing if I
could work some magic to make the stains less obvious! Just a thought!

Habersham Plantation brand painted dresser! In excellent condition and priced $125

I hope you're staying warm, dear reader! If you do brave the cold and head to the store and you see Joe - be sure and say "Hello!" He's also one of those people who knows TONS about furniture so could probably answer any questions you have! Take care!
