Phew - you all recovered from Thanksgiving? I think strolling around either our Carol Stream or Lombard store (or both!) is just the ticket to increase blood flow to the brain and get you focused and ready for the NEXT large holiday that's just around the corner! Haha!
What follows are some cool pieces currently at our Carol Stream store. Though, as always, this is a small fraction of our inventory. Let's take a look!
Room and Board SLEEPER loveseat from their Ellingson Collection. Looks new! Retails for $3,599 (all the details about how it opens are in the link). We're selling ours for $975

though there's a rip in the leather (faux leather?) on one arm of each of these side chairs - JUST LOOK AT HOW AMAZING THEY STILL ARE! Priced $20 each (yep, they're super cheap)
wonderful leather sofa for $75. One arm and an area on the seat shows some wear
(second to last photo) but overall still in good condition
this sweet loveseat could use the seat cleaned (nothing terrible - note second to last photo) but other than that - it's so amazing! Each button is covered in a different fabric to add a
hit of whimsy and color! Priced $145
OH MY GOODNESS - I am so in love with this handcrafted by William G. Stern 1978 standing desk! The quality is unbeatable! Measures: 6' across by 33 1/2" deep and stands 45 1/2" from floor to the front part of the desk (which slopes down a little). There's one piece of trim missing from the right side (see second to last photo showing trim on the left side and then last photo to show where that piece is missing on the right) and the top surface could use a wood conditioner to bring it back to it's originally glory - but oh my! There are four drawers at the top and then doors underneath that open to reveal slots that measure approximately 3 1/2" wide by 19" tall and there are eight slots on each side (and then two "cubbies" above the slots). Came out of a bank building so, obviously, was designed for a
specific purpose but - man oh man - I can't exclaim enough about how cool this is!
Priced $495 and it's very comfortable to stand and write on the sloping desk top!
continuing back in time past 1978 is this incredible, oak, antique, Hoosier cabinet!

McCreary Modern (sold at Room & Board) loveseat in pristine condition. Truly looks brand new! Looks like this one from their Jasper Collection but ours has different legs. The Jasper one retails for $1,699. Ours is priced $695. That's ONE THOUSAND and four DOLLARS off the retail price!

though a small repair was needed (underneath the table) this walnut coffee table (again from Room & Board) was clearance priced $499 (from a retail price of $1,299). But this one at
Jubilee Furniture is even less! Priced $295!
gorgeous, pine, 49 1/2" round Drexel table and two leaves (each 20" wide) for $125. Four Howell brand dining chairs for $75 for all four. The originally upholstery on the chairs needs to be
cleaned if you want to remove the slipcovers. FYI
we have TWO of these full size fabulous beds! One bed includes headboard, footboard, side rails AND SLATS and is priced $295. The other bed includes headboard, footboard and side rails but NO SLATS and is priced $275. One of the used full size mattresses is $125 and the other $175
(box spring sold separately and I didn't see prices - sorry!)
twin size sleigh bed (headboard, footboard and side rails) for $65 and there was a repair made to the footboard. Matching one drawer nightstand is $35 and there is a piece missing from the knob (and some minor marks on the top). Used twin size mattress for $125 and used twin size box spring for $40

another very nice dresser (with protective glass on top) - this time maple wood - and priced $65
Carron Sports brand foosball table in very good condition and priced $225. This retails for $924.99!
we'll end with another amazing piece that I think is FANTASTIC! Large wardrobe that has two mirrored doors and tons of drawer storage! That's candlewax that's dripped down one side (so should be easy to remove with a little work) and overall in very good condition! Priced only $55!
