Kathy was out power washing the patio yesterday where we display our outdoor furniture and though things are still a jumbled mess - our goal is to have everything organized, priced and ready for you to peruse (and possibly purchase) NEXT WEEK (sorry - still one week away).
Now you know what I just did - right? Guaranteed a massive snow storm of epic proportions! Haha!
I don't remember if I shared this last fall - but our beloved Merchandise Mart outdoor furniture partners all moved to Atlanta, Georgia. Literally, the whole 15th floor at The Mart relocated. We will not be getting any showroom merchandise from there this year (or ever again). Honestly, it's a huge blow - over the seven or eight years we worked with them - they gave us hundreds of thousands of dollars of merchandise!
All that to say - anything left from The Mart from last year - that's it! Grab it while you can!
Now that I got you all riled up - again - outdoor furniture will be available starting Wednesday, 04/05!
So, what's available NOW? Great question! What follows are photos of SOME of our current inventory at our Carol Stream store!
GORGEOUS mid-century modern chest of drawers in very good condition (top is Formica and I noticed a slight ring from something) - priced $425
you know I've done this job for a long time (over 16 years) and I've never seen a piece that has pull out SHELVES like this chest of drawers does! The shelves even have a back "lip" to make sure whatever's on 'em doesn't fall off! In very good condition and priced $345. Has protective glass on top (fyi)
other than a long scratch on one of the drawers (with a smaller scratch on the next drawer - and I'd bet you could use a bit of wood stain and kind of make them disappear) this is a solid maple dresser manufactured by Peter Klerner (
interesting read about the company being purchased in 1949).

oh man - I LOVE this Crate & Barrel dining table! It's from their
Lakin Collection. 81" teak extendable table with two leaves (you add the leaves at each end). The metal legs give this farm house table an edge that I think is fantastic! Again, table is 38" by 81" and there are two 19" leaves. No chairs and there are a few marks on the top (second to last photo) but not a big deal.
Retails for $2,199 and ours is priced $895!
you have to really look carefully at the last photo to see this is a John Colby storage cabinet! Has two adjustable shelves and it's really an attractive piece! As I was examining it - I did notice it looks like the bottom got wet at some point. You can see damage on the back and then there are chips
in the veneer on the bottom on each side. Still and all - such a cool piece!

retails for $1,799 - though was $1,499 at some point and then marked down to $999 as you can see from tag. There are some scratches in the leather (second to last photo) and our extremely talented volunteer who does repairs - did have to firm up one of the leg joints - but whatever he did - I couldn't even tell! Sits a little low but I thought it was extremely comfortable when I sat down in it!
two matching end tables - measure: 12 1/2" by 26" and stand 22" tall - simply, lovely pieces
(though see perfect octagon ring in last photo) and are priced $65 each
Butler brand painted Demilune table with one drawer - in good condition and priced $45

Has two big drawers and then an open middle with one self and two closed spaces

chip in the edge of the glass (which is always a shame!) - priced $95

(prior to buying it) to make sure they work and mattress is in good condition!
