Jubilee Furniture and Resale in Lombard is - somewhat quietly - opening on Friday 07/15, from 10 am to 8 pm. We're not making a huge deal about it simply because we need additional volunteers to do the necessary work to sort, price and arrange the "resale" part. You see, part of this store will be a more traditional resale store with high-end, designer clothing and accessories. That part is still a few months out from happening. BUT the furniture part is ready and raring to go! We've been funneling furniture to this store for the last 10 months and they have some gorgeous pieces! Here are the details:

THIS WEEK ONLY: Friday, 07/15, from 10 am to 8 pm and Saturday, 07/16, from 9 am to 5 pm

- Wednesday from 1 to 8 pm
- Thursday and Friday from 10 am to 8 pm
- Saturday from 9 am to 5 pm
Lombard's hours are the same as the Carol Stream store EXCEPT will remain open until 5 pm on Saturday (Carol Stream closes at 4 pm)
Directions:
The store is just EAST of the intersection of Roosevelt and Highland Ave. on the NORTH side of Roosevelt (if you're headed east on Roosevelt Rd. from say, Wheaton). If you've been in the area awhile - this used to be the Lazboy showroom
Again - if you stop in (and you're very welcome to come check us out!) right now all you'll find is furniture. I stopped at the Lombard store yesterday and snapped some photos though most pieces still need to be priced so I don't have pricing information.

this is a stunningly gorgeous Restoration Hardware desk made out of reclaimed timber.

so, so lovely sideboard! Measures: 24" by 77" and 34" tall. Has custom cut protective
glass on top and look at that hardware! Love!

fun and funky leather sofa, loveseat and chair! Couch seam is coming apart (drat!) and there is some slight fading/discoloration on the sofa (sun fade?) but otherwise this is modern set in a cool purple/lavender/cream leather! Loveseat and chair are in excellent condition! We're selling these
three pieces all together for $625. Oh - and the headrests are adjustable
(just like the headrests in your car!). Love the "rocket" legs/feet!
three piece Vanguard brand sectional in excellent condition and priced $325
there's a slight discoloration/stain on one of these two matching side chairs (last photo) - but otherwise they're really lovely! Priced $85 each
okay - this is an absolutely STUNNING Hollywood Regency marble (granite?) and brass entry/sofa table! The stone is gorgeous! In excellent condition. Measures: 18" by 54" and stands 26" high.

Better Homes and Garden chest of drawers in very good condition. My only wonder is if the bottom two drawers originally had pulls and were replaced with knobs (they seem a wee bit off).

have you ever known me to NOT love a painted piece - especially a RED painted piece?! No never. There are some scratches on this four drawer chest but look at the "antiquing"! Look at the
lovely red color! Look at the details! Swoon! Priced $55
Harmony House retro dresser (no mirror) in good condition and priced $110
twelve drawer chest with mirror - in very good condition though there is a long scratch on the top - priced $145
Dixie brand clothing armoire - in very good condition and priced $175. You often see pieces like this where the details are plastic - this is all solid wood and really, really pretty!
LOVE the muted colors on this Cotswold Cottage brand loveseat (priced $125) and chair and ottoman (priced $65). There's a stain on the ottoman (last photo - it's kind of hard to see) and I noticed some spots on the loveseat that need cleaning - but over all - in good condition
we received a fantastic donation from Boss Manufacturer of some desk chairs that were part of a show at the Merchandise Mart recently. I've included the tags the chairs came with of estimated list price. Again, these were used in a sample sell at the Mart recently
