Whenever a donor asks if we take collectibles, crystal or china - I say "YES!" because I think it's these "add on" things that make the store more interesting to shop!
I maybe should temper my enthusiastic "YES" to more of a "yes" because we have more "smalls" than we have room for - which is why we're taking 50% OFF décor, dinnerware, kitchenware, indoor pillows, crystal, plates, collectibles, and more! There are a few restrictions (though not many) and this sale does NOT include mirrors, lamps or artwork! This sale is also only at our Carol Stream store.
I hope you can stop by and check out our selection or truly one-of-a-kind "smalls"!
And while you're here - take a look at what's "new" this week! What follows are photos of a few furniture pieces at our Carol Stream location!
this is a GORGEOUS mission style queen size headboard, footboard and side rails! Some minor blemishes on the wood AND there's some trim missing around the bottom of the headboard on the right side (one photo shows left side with the trim and the next photo is the right side where the trim is missing). Easy fix? I'm not sure! Easy to ignore - that depends on you! Haha! The bed is priced ONLY $75! and it really is a beauty! USED queen size mattress hasn't been priced yet and the
USED queen size low profile box spring is $75
speaking of blemishes - there are some on the top of this five drawer chest of drawers
but otherwise in great condition and priced only $35!
you know how it seems like there's a common thread that runs through some of my posts? Some days everything I show you is leather or arts and craft style or whatever! Well, apparently today's post is all about "blemishes" and when I put it like that - it's super unattractive! Sorry! This is a really beautiful 64" round Henredon table with six chairs (two with arms). There are some dings in the wood and I noticed a spot of paint on one of the chairs (one might call them "blemishes" ;-) - but overall this pedestal table and chairs are fantastic! Priced $325
this is an incredible, two piece, mid-century modern, Dyrlund storage piece! A few minor blemishes (sorry! I can't seem to stop!) but overall in excellent condition and priced $1,595.
Probably worth twice that! Measures: 18 1/2" deep and 71 1/2" wide and stands 71" tall
I don't know who desperately needs this FANTASTIC Room & Board stone top table - but someone does and needs to buy it before I do! Please! Measures: 30" by 5" and stands 35" tall from floor to table top and 30 1/2" from floor to table apron. Note the two hooks attached to the inside of the apron. Reminds me of hooks at a bar for you to hang your purse! Not sure what these hooks would be for? A dishcloth? Priced $450 and - wonders never cease - there are no BLEMISHES! None!
wonderful smoked glass and metal coffee table with fabric straps creating a bottom "shelf."
Priced $85 and measures: 21" by 30 1/2" by 19" tall
Sherrill brand sofa in good condition and priced $375. I left my price tag photo because
I think that photo most accurately represents the true fabric color
cool, antique camel back trunk for $75
Lazboy brand teal loveseat and ottoman - priced $195 for both pieces
and both are in very good condition!
I can promise you the word "blemish" is NOT going to appear in my description of this stunningly gorgeous, pristine condition dining set! Be still my heart! Zimmerman Chair - Fine Furniture Makers - is actually a manufacturer I've never come across before! A quick google search got me to their website and it's one of those sites where you "build" your table exactly as you want and there are no prices (and if you have to ask - you're in the wrong place!). This set includes: 44" by 6' table with one 20" extension and six chairs (only one has arms) and table pads. Priced $1,195
lovely glass top oval coffee table (37" by 49" by 17 1/2" tall) with metal base - priced $95. Four piece sectional - wonderful micro-suede fabric in very good condition - both ends recline - priced $275
Bernhardt brand, three piece leather sectional - in very good condition -
just needs some "fluffing" for $175
these lockers are amazing but these photos appear next to the word "blemishes" in the dictionary - so there's that?! Haha! I slightly jest - but these are rough - and a lot of cleaning and possibly a coat of paint is needed though it depends on how "rustic" you like things OR if you want 'em for a basement or garage. We have three - three door lockers (18" by 27 1/2" by 5' tall) and they're priced $15 each and then one, six door locker that's 12" by 3' by 66" tall and it's also $15
incredible stainless steel work station - measures: 29" by 59" and is priced $395.
Two drawers only open on one side (in case that's important to you)
smaller stainless steel work table - measures: 29 1/2" by 47" and there's one drawer (not sure why it's not in the tracks). Advance Tabco is the manufacturer and it's priced $295
rolling stainless steel cart (18" by 27") priced $95
and another rolling stainless steel cart (18" by 30") also priced $95
Well look at that, dear reader - I got through the last few descriptions without using the word "blemishes" once! I can only hope the day continues on this upward trend!
