Yikes - I'm having a hard time these days with the lack of sunshine! I work in a windowless office and am used to that but right now even when I wander out into the store - where I normally would see sun streaming through the windows - it's gray. Ugh.
I'd never suggest shopping to lift your spirits (though who am I to judge) - but the simple act of walking around a store is somewhat restorative so maybe come by to get a bit of exercise?
This rambling opening is a perfect snapshot of my brain right now- in case you wanted to know! Haha!
Before we go any further down this path - let's take a look at a few things at our Carol Stream store that caught my eye. Remember, LOTS more inventory currently in Carol Stream AND, as always, there's our Lombard store too!
a few small blemishes on the top of this dresser - but I think it's gorgeous! I did find one or two drawers that were a little hard to open too - but maybe that's an easy fix? Priced $145 (no mirror)
this is a super attractive dining set! It's 54" round without the 18" leaf (photos show leaf in table). One of the chairs has been repaired (see photos ) AND one of the pedestal base legs has been chewed on (again, see photo). Priced $155
nice black table (42" by 72") for $75 and then four gray leather and chrome cantilever chairs - some minor issues (see photo with spotting on the leather) - priced $180 for the set
very nice, rustic looking gray washed wooden small cabinet for $95
this is a very cool, oval glass top and glass base coffee table! Measures: 35" by 59" and is only 12" from floor to the top of the coffee table. The curvy base is lovely to look at (in my opinion).

there's no getting around the fact that both these pieces need a LOT OF WORK! Though I might be tempted to clean them up and leave them with all their weird stains and blemishes - because that's life! Haha! The simplicity of lines, the rounded corners, the hardware, the sweet shallow drawers; the lack of pretense, the "honesty" of the pieces - seriously, what's NOT to love?! I can't begin to tell you how drawn I am to both pieces. I seriously love them! Buffet measures: 20" by 56" and is 36" tall and priced $125. ONE piece china cabinet is 14" by 35" and 65" tall and priced $225

these two Lazboy brand pieces are also in excellent condition EXCEPT on both corners of the seat cushions on the loveseat where a puppy must have chewed the fabric!
