Good bye April and hello May!

Welcome! Thank you for stopping by to take a look at some of the furniture currently in our Carol Stream store! I was a bit rushed taking photos so not quite as many as I normally show you so you just HAVE TO stop in to see EVERYTHING in person! Haha!

lovely Pier 1 wicker six drawer wicker dresser - some small spots where the wicker is coming slightly undone but overall in great shape! Priced $175

54" round game table - who can tell me what this game is? Looks complicated! And then there is a second top for poker! In very good condition and priced $395

I've been watching this very cool wrought iron art installment waiting to see what our resident art expert would price it - and she finally has! $350 for this one of a kind bar scene!

I just wanted to share that my sweet, funny, witty and feisty mom peacefully passed away on Saturday evening surrounded by three of her five kids and her daughter-in-law. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers, dear reader! 

Update post for Wednesday 04/23/2025

Hey! If you're a long time blog reader - you've heard me mention my amazing mother before. She's 96 and late Saturday night was ill and we now know has some serious health issues. I've been spending as much time as possible with her - in addition to developing a doozy of a cold that laid me low yesterday.

All that to say - I've been working when I can the last few days but don't have any photos to share except for this one I took of me and Mom on Saturday morning when I visited.

we have a lovely Room & Board metal shelving unit that's part of their Foshay Collection and retails for $1,399. Measures" 15" deep and 5' across and stands 86" tall. The last photo shows one of the small support brackets that's come out (easy repair? Requires you to weld something?). Priced $425. 

and then as I was trying to get a good photo (darn window!) this very cool metal and wood art piece is seen so I snapped a terrible backlite picture of it! Priced $75

lovely entry/sofa table in great condition! Measures: 15" deep and is 51 1/2" across and stands 37" tall. On the bottom shelf the two trays are removable (and there's a nice solid shelf ). 

The top "tray" is NOT removable (fyi). Priced $145

I can't find this exact John-Richard mirror on the website but it's very cool (and these 

mirrors are pricey!). Measures: 39 1/2" by 52" and is priced $245

you know I'm a sucker for any check or plaid fabric and I LOVE this Honquest brown and 

cream check sofa! It's in excellent condition and priced $325

sweet as can be - LOCKING bookcase from Lexington! There are some blemishes on the top 

but overall in great condition and priced $135

very unique and fun "rustic" desk for $85. There's a guitar pick in one of the two small 

drawers that's yours if you purchase the desk (such a deal!)
