We're super excited about the construction that's underway at the store! When done - we'll have added much need showroom and warehouse space as well as a place to park our trucks indoors (diesel trucks + severe cold = trucks that don't start) on the west side of our building (where currently we store out outdoor furniture).
As with all construction, the actually construction is the challenging part! Haha! It's hard to know from week to week where to pick up the furniture you've purchased and drop off any donations. A wonderful volunteer took this aerial view of our property to show how we'll be handling things during this next phase in the work.
As you come in off of North Ave. all customers and donors will go around the EAST side of the building to the alley that runs BEHIND the store. Pull up either to the stop sign or behind the car that's stopped at the stop sign. A new overhead door has been installed and one car at a time will be able to pull up and either get what they've purchased loaded or unload whatever they're dropping off. You'll then turn around and go back the same way you came in (the whole west side of our property will be off limits during this construction stage).

So again - we're THRILLED about the eventual added space and hope it's not too confusing for everyone in the meantime.

I'm NOT a sewer so I don't know how easy, or hard, it would be to replace the button that's popped off this 38" square ottoman. Other than the missing button this looks to be in excellent condition and is priced $75. Just had a brainstorm - put a tray over that spot and you'll

Oh my goodness - look at this indoor/outdoor table with four matching chairs that was picked up this week from the Merchandise Mart! It's brand new! The hole for the umbrella was cut a little too large and so was donated. The showroom manager told us this is IPE Bolivian wood (here's the definition of IPE: [pronounced EE-pay] is the finest quality wood decking material available. ... Ipe is an exotic hardwood that is naturally resistant to rot and decay, is 8 times harder than
California Redwood, and is guaranteed for 20 years without preservatives).
Table is 41" square and we're selling the set for $1,195. It's stunning
Speaking of stunning - these two Morris Chairs from Stickley Furniture (for Toms Price) each with an ottoman are incredible! There are pegs and holes which allow you to adjust the incline of the back rest. They're in pristine condition and priced $425 for each set of chair and ottoman
though this dining table with two benches and two arm chairs needs some cleaning, refinishing, love - it's such a great set! Table measures: 40" by 64" and has one 20" leaf and we're selling the set for $195. The table TOP and the top of the one leaf seem to be a wood laminate and are in fine condition
