Yes it's Wednesday NOT Thursday but the store is open and this topsy turvy year continues!

Like a lot of people - since the pandemic I've struggled with knowing what day of the week it is since they all tend to blur together - so the fact I'm writing my normal Thursday post on Wednesday and the store is open today - is NOT helping me at all! So in the hopes of trying to keep us all slightly sane - here are both the store and warehouse hours this week and next week:

Jubilee Furniture will be OPEN on Wednesday, 12/23 from 10 am to 8 pm

We'll be CLOSED both Thursday, 12/24 AND Friday, 12/25 (Merry Christmas!)

We'll be OPEN Saturday, 12/26 from 9 am to 4 pm

We'll be OPEN Wednesday, 12/30 from 10 am to 8 pm

We'll be OPEN Thursday, 12/31 from 10 am to 2 pm

CLOSED Friday, 01/01/21 (Happy New Year!)

OPEN Saturday, 01/02 from 9 am to 4 pm

And for those of you who have time to stop in the store either today or Saturday have we got a treat for you! When you arrive at the register to pay you'll find this very festive setup:

Select a card and scratch off to reveal if you get 10%, 15% or 20% OFF YOUR TOTAL PURCHASE! Yep - THE ENTIRE STORE IS ON SALE WEDNESDAY AND SATURDAY! Item already marked down? You'll still receive another percentage off at the register! Discount on top of discount!

Additionally, all Christmas merchandise is 50% off! And, again, receive ANOTHER percentage off at the register!

I'm surprisingly busy with incoming donor inquiries but dashed up to the store and snapped a few photos (though not as many as I normally take). Please know there's LOTS more inventory than what follows - but here are a few things that caught my eye!

super sweet drop leaf table (3' by 18" with leaves down; 3' round with them up) with four chairs for $135. All four chairs have scratch marks in basically the same place which leads me to believe the home was visited by small aliens each night after everyone was in bed and they could only climb
up (remember, they're small) onto the chairs on the right side as they were gathering
for their nightly herbal tea and toast and their tough alien skin scratched the wood -
or maybe the donor had a dog? Haha!

beautiful Asian inspired cabinet - open cabinet with one shelf inside - priced $105

gorgeous leather loveseat for $295

larger than your typical chaise - and truth be told it needs work - but it's SO COOL! Third photo down you can see where the piping is coming away from the frame and the upholstery is dirty. But the
carved wood frame is fabulous and the generous size is so, so lovely and the shape of it is like a furniture hug (and don't we all need one of those these days)! Priced $65

beautiful side chair for $150

excellent condition Clayton Marcus brand chair and ottoman (with two throw pillows) priced $225

excellent condition black faux leather (I don't think it's real leather but even after all these years I can't always tell) couch. I found one tiny rip on one back corner (last photo)
when I was examining it. Priced $145

and then behind the sofa I just showed you is this lovely wrought iron bench with an upholstered pad that's in excellent condition and priced $65. Another piece with unknown words (remember last week's coffee table -WHICH someone purchased! Yay you!) but this time I at least know these are French
(at least they LOOK like French!)

this is probably my ideal sofa - absolutely no cushions that can shift around! Haha! Granted it needs some softening with throw pillows and a throw but that's easily done!
In excellent condition and priced $255

this table and these chairs looks really good together though they aren't a set! Table measures: 42" by 66" and has two leaves (15" each) and is priced $65. Selling the six Nichols & Stone chairs for $195. All are in very good condition

really pretty writing desk! The plaque says: Grand Rapids Furniture Makers Guild Collection of Classics. Desk measures: 24" by 54" - there is a scratch in one corner (last photo). Priced $135

I'm see you here again NEXT Wednesday, dear reader! Until then wishing you a very Merry Christmas and please stay safe and wear your face mask!
