As someone who feels things deeply - I'm not surprised I'm having a hard time saying, "So long" to you all - but here we are, dear friends - at the end of this incredible journey we've been on since June of 2009! As with all journeys - there have been ups and downs and I'm guessing you could tell by my writing if I was having an "off" day - but for the most part it's been a blast! I've mentioned before that I've loved furniture and design since I was a kid - and my love has only deepened since working at Jubilee Furniture. There are certain pieces that, quite simply - speak to me. There's no other way of putting it and you either get what I mean or you don't (and if you don't - that's a-okay!). Sharing that love with you has helped me articulate the "why" I love certain pieces and has grown both my appreciation and knowledge of furniture (styles, woods, designers and manufactures). What the heck I do with all that information now - I'm not sure - but I do know I'm grateful for the opportunity I've had to learn!
My boss is also an administrator on the blog and he's decided not to take it completely down - so I don't know if someone might breathe new life into it down the road - but as far as my time here, we're at the end. Sob.

So, let's end as we started by taking a look at some of the current inventory at our Carol Stream store!
there is an extra adjustable shelf you can add (just need the little support pegs) to make this truly a storage wardrobe (and not for a TV). Distressed finish but overall in great condition! Measures: 2' deep, 46" across and stands 73" tall. Priced $275. Doors slide inside the cabinet to give you great access!
we have SEVEN of these Room & Board synthetic leather dining chairs and they might be the most comfortable chair you have ever sat in! Seriously!
They retail for $379 EACH but we're selling all SEVEN for $625. I DID see two spots - on the same chair- where the synthetic leather is peeling but overall they're in great condition!
right now we have these Room & Board chairs gathered around a gorgeous WOODEN table (kinda looks like stone from a distance and in these photos) with a base (love the brass around the bottom of the base) in great condition and priced $145. The top IS NOT currently attached to the base but we have the hardware to attach it. Table measures: 42" by 92"
very nice table (measures: 46" by 66" which includes one 20" leaf so would be 46" round without the leaf) with EIGHT chairs (two with arms). You actually can't get all eight chairs around this table so either a leaf was lost in translation or the extra chairs were just for show? The green finish is distressed by design and then normal use has added some more distress to the finish but overall in great condition. Rush seats on all the chairs. Priced $425 for all

The Bassett Mirror Company - not to be confused with the Bassett Furniture Co. - has been in business for over 100 years and started as a manufacturer of mirrors! I bet you're completely surprised by that! Haha! We have a really beautiful 54" round glass top table with a very pretty base and four different color chairs - all in excellent condition and priced $245 for the set!
The two side displays have lights! Measures: 18 1/2" by 5' and stands 3' tall. Priced $245
I told Connie I'm struggling to remember which cream/oatmeal color sofa I've already taken photos of because we have quite a few of them in the store! She pointed out this one and the next one I'll show you, as "new" this week!. This is a very nice oatmeal color sofa in great condition and priced $225
and then this cream color Room & Board sofa is in good condition (a few shadow like areas that just need to be cleaned) and priced $475. This is a big sofa. From outside arm to outside arm measures 93" and from front to back it's 44" deep. Seat is 31" from front to back and 25" from front to back cushion. Inside sofa is 77" (I hope that all makes sense!)
WOW - we THINK this is a Jean Zuber antique wallpapered five panel screen depicting First Nation or Polynesian figures. It's stunning!
Here's a similar screen. Each panel is 21 1/2" wide and 6' tall. Looks like leather hinges connect each panel. Priced $1,700. This is an incredible piece of history!
40" square table top from Room & Board that's this incredible spalted sugarberry (a type of hackberry) - that's a North American hardwood prized for its striking, high-contrast, dark gray/black mineral streaks and fungal lines! It's gorgeous! Dick (incredible volunteer woodworker who we couldn't live without!) added hairpin legs (and you can see in my photo of the underside that it was original
meant to be used in some other way) and it's now a fabulous table! Priced $225.

we have two brand new Pottery Barn pivot mirrors from their Kensington Collect that are 24" by 36". Mirror is beveled.

let's end with this very cool handcrafted? entry storage bench with hooks for hanging stuff! It has a nice solid back and measures: 16 1/2" deep, 45" across and 70 1/2" tall. CAUTION - the lid does NOT stay up by itself! You have to hold it. Second to last photo is me trying to take a photo of the interior of the bench while holding up the lid. Priced $195 and overall in good condition -
