This week we'll be taking off 50% of most Christmas merchandise!
And then one other housekeeping issue. Due to the volume of incoming donations - we've become even more selective about what we accepting. I have a bunch of screening questions I ask my donors who call to schedule a pickup - and can fairly quickly determine if we want something or not. When donors decide to DROP OFF their furniture, they typically haven't gone through my questions and so are often surprised when our warehouse staff refuses something (surprised and not happy). We're starting a new practice of having donors TEXT photos of the items they want to BRING TO US to Garrett - our Warehouse Manager - at 630.244.0751. This should eliminate any unpleasant surprises when a donor arrives. That said, photos don't tell the complete picture and the warehouse team still has the right to refuse anything we would not be able to readily resell. FYI. Thanks for your understanding!
Moving on - what follows are a few pieces that caught my eye when I was at the store yesterday. But, as always, we have a whole lot more inventory!
I thought these chairs were super sweet! One is priced $35 and one $25. As I examined the cheaper one I noticed underneath it was super saggy (see last photo and compare it to the one before it). You do sink into both of them when you sit down (though sink more in the saggy bottom chair).
Otherwise, remarkedly good condition!
this is a stunningly gorgeous glass (42" by 6') top dining table on a base that looks like art! Excellent condition except the seat fabric on the EIGHT chairs needs some minor cleaning.

speaking of stunning - look at this antique silk and carved Chinese screen! Stands 70" tall and each panel is 23 1/2" wide. So beautiful and would make a really gorgeous and unique Christmas present! Priced $895. Last photo is the back of one of the panels
FABULOUS Lane brand leather sofa in excellent condition and priced $525
I couldn't get a good photo of this amazing wooden shelving unit - but it's FANTASTIC! It's 2' square at the base and then gets smaller as it goes up. Stands 6' tall and is in excellent condition. Priced $325
ignore the knick-knacks on this unusual and very pretty server. In excellent condition and priced $155. Perfect piece for setting out holiday nibbles and drinks!
I absolutely LOVE these four Nichols & Stone stools. Measure 26" from floor to seat. In excellent condition (we've got a pattern going here!) and priced $155 for all four
dare I say it again - excellent condition 43" round wood table with four chairs
(black parts of the chairs are metal - FYI). Priced $225 for the set
this six drawer drawers if also in excellent condition and priced $275
this METAL chest of drawer isn't in excellent condition (bottom drawer was hard to open and close) but it's AMAZING and so COOL and INCREDIBLE! It's this fabulous gray/green metal and has little wheels and, yes, it needs a good cleaning but LOOK AT IT! Priced $125
