We celebrated our Jubilee Furniture volunteers last night - and it was so fun to see just how many people are investing in the store! Some are newer to volunteering and some have been doing so since the store opened over 17 years ago! Wow!
Because we use volunteers to primarily staff the store - we can keep our expenses down thus maximizing the amount of funds generated to help support the programs and services at Outreach.
Speaking of volunteers - last week I shared how a volunteer had completely transformed this old TV armoire in order to inspire people to see beyond the obvious to how so many pieces we have at the store can be repurposed in beautiful ways! Remember?

yes, there are some issues with this American of Martinsville bedroom set but, overall, it's just so cool! The main issue is on both of the nightstands there's some veneer missing from one of the top drawers (see where it's lighter?) - otherwise, it's small dings in the wood. Let's start with the taller chest of drawers. On the protective glass with this piece is this decorative stencil. Priced $395. We're selling the two nightstands together as a pair for $195.
