Hey there! Hi there! Ho there! You're as welcome as can be! Haha! I have no idea why those lyrics popped into my brain but there you have it! And since you ARE as welcome as can be - it seems to fit and is as good (if not better!) of an opening as my, "Thanks for stopping by" line that I normally use!
Okay - now that we've commenced with the greeting - let's get down to see photos of SOME of the current inventory at our Carol Stream store!
Oh - but first! BOTH our Carol Stream AND Lombard stores are having a fantastic sale this week AND next! 50% OFF the lowest marked price on décor, kitchenware and indoor throw pillows (some exceptions). Our shelves are bursting with so much good stuff and you really are going to want to check out this sale in person!
And now - here's a glimpse at some of our current inventory at, again, our Carol Stream store:
twin over twin bunkbed system that you can separate if needed. There appear to be extra "parts" beneath the bed - enough pieces for a THIRD twin bed? Not sure. My one note about this is I think the ladder - which is attached to one end of the bed - should have a matching piece on the top bunk. It seems like a bit of a leap from the top of the ladder to getting onto the top bunk (?). Regardless, a very nice set and priced $295. One of the used twin size mattresses is priced $40
and the other used twin mattress is $125
three piece sectional - some fading and wear but like your favorite jeans just makes
this sectional better (in my opinion). Priced $195
we have TWO identical Ethan Allen SLEEPER loveseats with air pump mattresses and both are in excellent condition! We have all the pumps/parts and the donor even donated a set of sheets
for each bed! Priced $365 each. Matching STORAGE ottoman (that's
where the air pumps and sheets are stored) for $125
gorgeous Stickley brand tan velvet sofa in very good condition and priced $425
beautiful tone on tone patterned sofa in excellent condition and priced $195
we have some really lovely sofas in the store right now - including this Broyhill one
that's in excellent condition and priced $325
walnut bench/coffee table from Room & Board - from their
Ewing Collection and retails for $999. There are some minor/you'd probably not notice if I didn't call your attention to 'em issues. There are TWO slats that are missing a piece of wood on one end (see last two photos) and then there was a small crack in one of the slats that's been repaired (second photo - the slat with the blue tape).
Otherwise, looks like new! Priced $575
and then behind the Ewing bench/coffee table is a sofa from the
Jasper Collection at Room & Board that retails for $1,599. This sofa is in excellent condition - the only reason it was donated is because the black netting underneath the sofa was damaged and we removed it. Our price? $795
very cool, Gangso brand (made in Denmark) side table in excellent condition and priced $65
two matching Smithe Craft brand side chairs - both in excellent condition and priced $75 each!
Both upholstered in a kind of unique fabric that - I believe - is meant to look like real animal hide (?).
Just a bit "rough" feeling to the touch (take note - this is how NOT to sell furniture 101 - haha!)
so, so pretty floral side chair in very good condition for $95
lovely, muddy, muted fall color side chair from Jessica Charles for $135
remarkedly comfortable rattan side chair for $75
did I already show you this Bob Timberlake media cabinet? It's super attractive. Measures: 2' by 66" and stands 39" tall and is priced $95. You can fit a 40" flat screen TV on the one side
(I was hoping you could fit something bigger - but nope)
in case it hasn't dawned on you - the holidays are coming! I know - that's terrifying! BUT what if you had the coolest game table around and after a meal you gathered about this chess/checkers/backgammon table for some family fun? Wouldn't that make the approaching holidays more palatable? Or have the wood "blank" side up and pull out a deck of cards? Or a board game? The options are almost endless! This set is manufactured by Ethan Allen and priced $345. Table is
37" square. The shape of the legs, the burled wood, the chair backs - this is a beautiful set!
we'll wrap up with something unique that I've never seen before!
A cabinet built in the Tansu Japanese style. This is old but not super old. Be careful with the sliding doors - they come out of their tracks pretty easily. Measures: 17" by 36" and stands 66" tall. Priced $275
I often end with my appreciation for you stopping by, dear reader because # 1) I am super grateful and # 2) it bears repeating! Thank you and take care!
