As April draws to a close with the forecast calling for SNOW - I think we all need a Jubilee Furniture break! What better to counter the cold than to head into the store where it's warm, people are glad to see you and you can wander around looking at lovely - and often unusual - furniture that you just might realize you desperately CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT! Oops - I might have been projecting there!
But, hopefully, you get my point! Let's start our shopping by taking a look at SOME of our current inventory I snapped photos of yesterday! Remember this is by no means ALL of what's in the store!
lovely pair of Henredon side chairs - both are in excellent condition - and priced $165 each
beautiful metal side table - measures: 28" round and stand 28 1/2" tall - for $85
antique French needlepoint chair in really nice condition and priced $125
super solid small (22" deep by 30" wide and 49" tall at tallest) desk with roll top that's in excellent condition and priced $145. Back is finished (that's the last photo - showing you the back)
another pair of matching chairs - this time in earthy tones - priced $135 each and though they KIND OF look like they recline - they don't (FYI). I did notice one spot on one of the chairs where the upholstery is a bit fuzzy (second to last photo - see what I mean?) but otherwise in good condition
if ever a piece of furniture might come to life and dance around in the moonlight (ala Beauty and the Beast) it's this pair of slightly oversized chairs! Haha! Look at 'em - can't you just see them twirling around when it's dark and all are asleep?! I am totally in love though it should be noted they sit very firm. In very good condition and priced $225 each

are in very good condition and priced $110 each
behind the two chairs on wheels - I spied this gorgeous piece of original artwork by
really beautiful muted blue/green velvet sofa by Kellex in excellent condition and priced $175.
Also sits firm (which you'll appreciate as you get older! Trust me on this!)
Century Furniture pedestal table (LOVE the pedestal - table is 47 1/2" wide by 78" long) with one leaf (22" wide) and six chairs (two with arms). Some minor blemishes on the table top and the chairs need to be spot cleaned (and I found one tiny tear where the seat meets the back on one chair) but overall a stunning set! Priced $525. It's unusual for a pedestal table to have a leaf -
which is what's so cool about this table!
though these three pieces don't totally match - they're similiar and all by Lexington! First up - one drawer nightstand for $45 (top needs to be refinished). Then a four drawer dresser (top also has some blemishes but better than the nightstand) for $95 (and note the sweetest stenciling on the drawers!). Clothing armoire is in good condition (there's a spot on the frame of the oval mirror that got dinged and needs to be sanded down but otherwise in very good condition) for $145
now this IS a matching set! High gloss eight drawer dresser with mirror for $155 (drawer fronts are a marble-y green and top and sides black). Then there's a full size headboard THAT COMES with two side pieces that convert it into a KING size! One drawer nightstand for $25. Overall in good condition (high gloss finish shows small imperfections more readily but it's so pretty!)
this is super amazing and you're gonna love it! It's a CHAIR that opens to a BED!
Here are the details from the Wayfair website (retails for $509). It's extremely easy to open into a bed. In excellent condition and priced $255 (almost HALF OFF the retail price!)
TEN drawer dresser in good condition and priced $145
BEAUTIFUL Thomasville bedroom set that includes: large dresser with mirror for $325; armoire for $425 and king size headboard that has a lovely curved mirror and the two side parts of the mirror actually rest on top of the two nightstands (so when all put together would look a bit like a continuous piece of furniture) for $425 (that prices includes headboard, mirrors and two nightstands).
Every piece is in very good condition!
set of REPRODUCTION Wassily chairs (I learned how to spot what's a knock off and what's real by watching
this YouTube video). There's rusting on both chairs though one has a lot more than the other. Also a spot on one of the chairs where the leather is splitting (last photo).
