I spend my days talking, texting and emailing to, and with, our donors and scheduling the donation pickup team (we offer free local pickup of excellent condition used furniture from smoke and pet-free homes and the furniture has to be in the garage. You can call me - Susan - at 630.337.1467 to discuss further if you have something to donate) but once a week I go into the store to take photos for the blog and each time I do it's exciting! Why? Because I never know what I'm going to find and everything's arranged in such a wonderful, inviting way and I simply love it!
Even if you read the blog and have a sense of what's in the store - you know it's not the same as walking into the space! It really is kind of magical! Well, this week is no exception and what follows are photos of just a few pieces of our current inventory. Let's take a look!
though there's a crack in the stone on this vintage (1959) Thomasville buffet - it's still STUNNINGLY GORGEOUS! Piece measures: 17" by 66" by 28 1/4" tall and is priced $145
lovely two piece hutch - measures: 20" by 53" and stands 69" tall and is priced $85
fantastic two piece Pennsylvania House china cabinet that's in excellent condition!
Measures: 19" by 54" by 81" tall and is priced $95
six drawer chest in pristine condition for $165. Matching queen size bed with two under bed drawers on each side - slats eliminate the need for a box spring (fyi) - also in pristine condition and priced $245
two four drawer small chests - some fading of the wood and there's a ring on the top of one of them.
No ring dresser is $55 - ring dresser is $45
Land of Nod chest of drawers - in excellent condition - for $145. Interestingly, I couldn't open all the drawers at the same time - it's like the design is such that some of them automatically close when another drawer is open? Interesting.

two piece sofa/chaise for $155. The head rests are adjustable (adjust to several different positions) and this is a very cool piece of furniture EXCEPT - the fabric is "fuzzy." I don't know if you can see from the second photo but that's what I'm trying to show you - which is too bad!
