With tax day just around the corner (federal and state income tax filings are due Monday, 05/17) we thought we'd give you some tax relief in the form of 8% OFF your total purchase (no exceptions) this Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday! Why 8%? Because that's the sales tax charged in Carol Stream! So though we will - of course - pay Carol Stream their 8% sales tax on every purchase - we'll take that same percentage OFF your purchase and then add on the sales tax - so it's like we're paying your sales tax for you! this shabby chic piece is right when you walk inside the first set of doors coming into the store.
It's 14 1/2" by 39" and stand 46" tall. Designed to look/be "distressed" and priced $175
also in that front entry is this lovely entrance mirror/stand. It can hold everything from your keys, dog leash, mail to your umbrella, coat, hat and give you an opportunity to make sure you don't have food in your teeth before you head out the door! In very good condition and priced $125.

and then there was one more thing in the entry that caught my eye and that's this gorgeous oak pew/bench! Measures: 17 1/2" by 50 1/2" and is 54" tall and priced $225. It LOOKS like it
might open and provide storage but it does NOT - FYI
cool retro Harmony House dresser - top really needs to be refinished and missing one knob
(second to last photo) but it's a sweet piece! Priced $155
Lexington brand cabinet - we do NOT accept TV armoires but this one was simply
too nice not to take! In excellent condition and priced $165
these mid-century pieces are INCREDIBLE but have me kinda scratching my head simply because all three are slightly different from each other. Two of them have these "antler" type legs and support pieces designed to hold a piece of glass (the coffee table is missing the glass). The end table has a storage box that's offset from the antlers while the coffee table "box" has the antlers symmetrical. Then the second end table the antlers become "X"s and are symmetrical on each side of the box. They're honestly very cool! I could not find any manufacturer/designer name anywhere on them. All in good condition. The two end tables are priced $225 each and the coffee table is $100
(and again there's no glass for the coffee table)

why knobs but no coils?
okay - bear with me on this one. This is a STUNNING sleeper sofa from Room and Board that I don't think was ever used! It's from their
Allston Collection and retails for $3,299. We're selling ours for $650. Why such a huge reduction? There's an issue with opening up the sleeper. You can't. You know I'm like a dog with a bone when it comes to stuff like this and am pretty good at figuring things out - and the best I can tell you is that on one side of the mechanism there are TWO coils and on the other (same location) there's only ONE. It is simply missing a coil? I don't know! There's also some hinge things in the back part of the sofa (second to last photo) that has some knobs but NO coils (except one on a front knob).Why have the knobs if there aren't coils? It's the same on both side of the sofa. So are a BUNCH of coils missing? WHO KNOWS! Thus the incredible price for this absolutely fabulous sofa! If you never need/want to use it as a sleeper than - YAY - but I warn you this puppy is HEAVY!
