We had a VHS video tape (remember them?) titled: "Everyone makes mistakes." It tells the story of Big Bird (from Sesame Street) walking into Mrs. Washington's clean laundry hanging in her backyard. Little Bird sees the whole thing. Big Bird then comes up with a bunch of wild stories to explain how the clothes ended up on the ground and one of them is about a tornado and he says, "Hold onto your feathers, Little Bird!" He ends up telling Mrs. Washington the truth because, you know, everyone makes mistakes. For some reason that line has stuck with me all these years and I often say it if there's something kinda exciting about to happen that might blow you away.
And what might blow you away? Oh my goodness - we are absolutely jammed with incredible furniture at the store! Like crazy wonderful stuff! Additionally, yesterday we picked up TWO trucks of fantastic outdoor furniture from our friends at the Merchandise Mart! BUT - the Mart furniture will NOT be priced and available for purchase until Thursday (07/15). That said, we have other fabulous Mart pieces priced and ready for you to check out!

very good condition IKEA chair for $65. I think these chairs are amazingly comfortable!

this is a cool "stair step" cabinet that's made of reclaimed wood and is in very good condition.

Crate & Barrel ultra suede sofa in good condition but there are some worn areas on both arms (last photo is showing you the slight wear on one of the arms) and a small spot or two. Priced $325
super sweet set of black chairs for $45 (woven seats just need to be cleaned up a little) and a Cushman brand oval side table for $95. Table measures: 19" x 28" and stands 26" tall. There are a couple of marks on the surface but it's a really beautiful piece!

I LOVE the hand scraped wood on this one drawer writing desk! In excellent condition, priced $95 (is everything priced $95 or is it just my imagination?! Haha!) and is 2' (at largest part) by 45" across
OH MY GOODNESS - I absolutely adore this dining set! Yes, there are some mars/scratches on the table top but it's still incredible! Table is 5' square and has one 20" leaf and EIGHT of the most fabulous chairs I've ever seen! LOVE the style of these chairs! Priced $595 for the whole dining set
three drawer Cushman Colonial desk for..wait for it...$95! Haha! Measures: 33" by 6' and the edge where you sit is worn but otherwise this is a cool piece! The drawers have
faux fronts on the opposite side. FYI
I honestly can't tell if this 40" round table with two 12" wide leaves and four chairs (two with arms) was painted by the manufacturer (Bassett) or the donor! The finish feels a little "chalky" like the donor painted the set but it's so well done that it might have been done by Bassett! Priced $125
this is a FABULOUS Tommy Bahama for Lexington armoire! The shelf is adjustable and that one opening is NOT missing a drawer (that's how it was designed). The "feet" have been removed but they're there (and, honestly, you could use this piece with or without 'em). Piece measures: 26" by 57" across and stands (with 6" feet) 82" tall. Priced $395 and the doors fold all the way back so
you have complete access to whatever you've got stored in it!
this is a really attractive Stanley brand dresser with triple mirror
BUT it's missing one pull! Priced $85
dust off and polish this Henkel-Harris solid cherry dresser (no mirror) and you'll have a gorgeous piece of furniture! Priced $65. There are four "cubbies" for storage behind the two doors. FYI
with a rod for hanging small or short clothes behind the one door on this dresser - you have a "complete closet" in a single piece of furniture! In very good condition and priced $85
I LOVE a good bench style seat and this one is priced only $35! There's some fading and some wear on the fabric of this small sofa/loveseat - but it's so darn cute (and did I mention it's only $35?!)
two matching Lazboy side chairs - both are in good condition BUT there is some staining/dirt on the edge of all four arms! Alas! Priced $65 each
